The Dream, featuring Sile, the only character not included in the original 1996 rendition of Embodiments of Silence, suggests a life-size, "dancing" persona of Timothy's secret doll, Tula. The choreographic structure for Sile's solo on Star Pasture borrows from the original gestures and pathways of the 1996 solo, Tula. Together, Timothy's doll, the 14-foot puppet Tula, and Sile's illusive presence throughout the screendance hints to the fact that there may be an imaginary friend lurking around the homestead.
